Team / Investigators Present: Omni: Susan, Jenn, Lauren, Michael, Glen, Don

Location Details
Description of Activity: Reported disembodied voices, getting touch by unseen entities, oppressive feelings.
Location History:

This place has been rumored to be an old "Boys Home/Ranch" or some sort of asylum. After inspection of the 5 or 6 structures, our conclusion is that it may have been a "Boys Home/Ranch". Most of the structures contained a common room with a couple of ajoining smaller almost closet sized rooms and one small bathroom. The small closet sized rooms appeared to have possibly contained bunk style beds bolted to the walls.

We also found bars on the windows in some of the structures that appeared to be constructed for the purpose of incarceration or detention.

Investigation Notes
9:20 pm
Arrived at the site, environmental measurements were taken. It was noted that sounds traveled very well and that dogs and coyotes could be heard in the distance. Susan thought she felt a tug on her jacket and heard someone say "shh".
9:30 pm
Glen's audio recorder was placed in the 3rd structure towards the rear, battery @ 100%.
9:36 pm
Last structure. Several of the bars located in the windows triggered the CellSensor EMF meter repeatedly. It was not a random trigger but every time you placed the EMF sensor near the bars. These structure are abandoned and contain no power or wiring whatsoever, in fact all the wiring has been scavenged and removed from all of the structures.
9:43 pm
This EMF phenomenon was occuring on 3 or 4 of the bars located in two windows of this structure.
9:45 pm
Battery check: Susan's audio recorder @ 50%, all others no change.
9:49 pm
An old bottle that was placed on a window sill by Glen fell to the ground. No wind was felt but window sill surfaces were un-even. No conclusion.
10:00 pm
Battery check: Glen's battery @ 75%, Michaels camcorder battery @ 45 minutes.
10:09 pm
Wind is slightly increasing, coyote sounds are getting closer.
10:12 pm
Glen's camcorder shut off, battery still good at 168 minutes.
10:15 pm B
Breath fog more noticeable, Glen and Jenn thought they heard a scraping sound from the middle room of the structure they were in.
10:17 pm
Don re-checked the metal window bars that were producing the EMF phenomenon with a Digital Volt Meter (DVM). there was no measureable voltage from the bars to ground. Don checked EMF readings at some exposed wires protruding from an electrical switch box with no results.
10:34 pm
Battery check: Glen's camcorder @ 159 minutes, Lauren's cell phone battery was found to be drained.
10:45 pm
Jenn's audio recorder paused by itself, battery @ 25%.
11:03 pm
Battery check: Michael's battery OK.
11:20 pm
Lauren felt as though she had been pinched. At the time, she was standing free of any obstacles, obstructions, or debris, in front of other investigators. Her clothing was checked and it did not appear to have snagged on or brushed up against anything.
11:25 pm
Don re-check the metal bars in the window that were producing the EMF phenomenon with a K-II EMF meter instead of a CellSensor. He got one small hit on the K-II one time but it was not reproducible like it is with the CellSensor EMF meter. His conclusion was the one small hit may have occurred when he bumped the K-II on one of the metal bars.

NOTE: When reviewing audio evidence it is often necessary to wear headphones to hear all of the details.

We believe the reproducible EMF readings from the metal bars in the windows may be caused by some sort of bimetallic effect or reaction between the metal bars and some substance the bars appeared to be coated with, or the bars may have been acting as an antenna. Since it was reproducible, we feel strongly that it is not a paranormal phenomena.

The result of this case is: Inconclusive
